I believe that what we choose to work on matters greatly. I strive to make my work something I care deeply about, with good people at my side, and that we all get to have a great time doing it. Today that good work is at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where I'm working to bring financial services to some of the poorest people on the globe. For fifteen+ years prior my work was at Amazon, building new businesses from the ground up, developing innovative products, and recruiting, hiring and managing great teams around the globe. In between those two jobs I was fortunate enough to have an 18-month sabbatical, where I rested up, remember how much I loved the great outdoors, and rekindled my creative passions.
